Bruer Metal Disc Filter

Level up from your paper filters with the Bruer Metal Disc. Created to improve your brews when using the Bruer, Delter Press, or Aeropress, this metal disc filter is also a more sustainable alternative to your traditional round paper filters.

Made with stainless steel, this reusable metal filter is easy to clean and prevents the transfer of flavours. The Bruer Metal Disc Filter is available in Standard and Fine, so you can create variations in your brews. 

The Standard filter is perfect for creating richer brews as it allows more coffee oils through while the Fine filter is ideal for producing a clean flavour profile.

Bruer Metal Disc Filter Features

Reusable – The Bruer Metal Disc Filter is reusable, making it a sustainable alternative to traditional paper filters. 

Available in Standard and Fine – The Standard Bruer Disc has slightly larger holes which allow more coffee oils through, resulting in a brew with a richer body while the Fine Bruer Metain Filter helps produce cleaner flavours with its smaller holes. 

Easy to clean – Because it’s made of stainless steel, the Bruer Metal Filter doesn’t retain flavours and is easy to clean.

The Specifics

• Material: Stainless Steel
• Diameter: 75mm

• STANDARD DISC: Slightly thicker grade than the Fine, more rigid and difficult bend, the standard disc yields a fuller cup as it allows more oils into the cup due to the slightly larger hole diameter. 

  FINE DISC: The fine disc produces a very sweet and clean cup, retains a lot more of the fines than the standard especially once you have adapted your brewing style to suit the slightly restricted flow.
